The Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Program funds development and infrastructure projects that achieve major environmental, health, and economic benefits in California’s most disadvantaged communities. Transformative Climate Communities' unique, place-based strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions is designed to catalyze collective impact through a combination of community-driven climate projects in a single neighborhood. The Transformative Climate Communities Program empowers the communities most impacted by pollution and poverty to choose their own goals, strategies, and projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollution.
